Published twice yearly, Boston Art Review’s print publication is the best way to dive deeper into Boston’s art community. Issues contain exclusive interviews, reviews, and critical perspectives as well as a commissioned artist project.

ISSUE 09: BURNOUT is dedicated to exploring how burnout can act as a catalyst for collaborating and collective organizing while also acknowledging the necessity for care in moments of exhaustion.

ISSUE 08: FACE TO FACE is a site for interrogating the conventions of portraiture and portrayal while celebrating the beauty of the habits, interactions, emotions, and ideas that make us human.

ISSUE 07: ROOTING is a site for exploring all that cannot be seen at the surface. It is a space for highlighting the hidden connections, histories, and shared networks of knowledge that make our creative community flourish.

ISSUE 06: TIMESTAMP offers a glimpse back at how the uneven progression of time shaped our understanding of the world around us.
